Profile of the College

Profile of the College

Rajalakshmi college of education was founded in 2009 by Anna Educational Trust. The college was affiliated in 2009 to the Tamilnadu Teachers Education University at Chennai. The college offers a one year teacher training course leading to the degree of Bachelor of Education. The college has a network resource centre equipped with modern computer system with local Area Network and Multimedia.

A very wide range of facilities exist for extra curricular activities – games & sports, social work & Community service clubs, road safety patrols, students’ union, science club, English club, health club, Mathematics club, eco club, history club, consumer club, IT club, Red Ribbon club, Child Protection Club, etc., for the total development of the students.

The college has a team of talented and devoted faculty. The results in the university examinations have been consistently good and the college has carved a niche for itself in the field of teacher education in Tamil Nadu.
